Check out the most frequently asked questions we get from our guests below. If you still have questions that remain nswered below, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Which Airport Should I Fly Into for My Cycling Trip?+
The easiest airports to fly into for most of our trips are either Venice (VCE) or Treviso (TSF). They are both less than 30 minutes from Treviso. We include pick-up from and drop-off to these airports in our packages. Some of our departures have different pick-up airports. Please refer to the trip detail page for this information.
Are Airport Transfers Included in the Cycling Tour Package?+
Yes, the transfer from the gateway airport on the trip start date or one day before the trip start is included, as well as the transfer at the end of the trip to this airport up to one day after the trip ends.
How Difficult Are the Cycling Routes on Your Trips?+
Our tours are rated from
"Pretty Tame" (25 miles/40 km to 44 miles/70km distance per day with 1600 ft/500 m to 3200 ft/1000m of elevation gain)
to
"Plenty of Climbing" (44 miles/70km to 75 miles/120 km distance per day with 3200 ft/1000 m to 8000 ft/2500m of elevation gain)
On each day of your trip you have the choice of a more or less challenging option, so even on a trip with a lot of climbing there will be easier options. If you have any questions, we're more than happy to set up a call to make sure the trip is right for you! Just pick a time from our calendar here.
Are the Cycling Routes Safe and Located on Quiet Roads?+
Yes! We dedicate a lot of time to finding beautiful routes that have little traffic.
Are Your Cycling Tours Guided or Self-Guided?+
Our trips combine the best of "self-guided" and "supported" trips. We like to call them "Supported Self-Guided". Like self-guided, there is a lot of freedom with your departure dates and number of participants. But unlike typical self-guided trips, all our trips offer daily on-route support and face-to-face contact. Our guests love the independence and personal service. Check out some of our verified reviews from past guests on the WeTravel platform here.
