ARE YOUR TRIPS GUIDED OR SELF GUIDED?

Our trips combine the best of "self-guided" and "supported" trips. Like self-guided, there is a lot of freedom with your departure dates and number of participants. And like supported trips, there is daily on-route support and face-to-face contact.

WHERE DO I FLY INTO?

The easiest airports to fly into are either Venice (VCE) or Treviso (TSF). They are both less than 30 minutes from Treviso. 

ARE AIRPORT TRANSFERS INCLUDED?

Yes, the transfer from Venice or Treviso airport to Treviso, and from the end of the trip to these airports is included.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY CYCLINGHERO TRIP?

We have a flexible cancellation policy – please refer to our cancellation policy at the time of booking. If you have any uncertainties, don't hesitate to get in touch; we're here to assist you.

IS THE TOUR SUITABLE FOR MY SKILL LEVEL?

Our tours are rated from Pretty Tame (40-70km/day | 500-1000m climbing/day) to Very Climby (70-120 km/day | 1000-2500m climbing/day). Each tour includes a description of the level, anticipated daily ride duration, distance, and elevation. If you have any questions, we're more than happy to have a phone conversation with you to help you discover the perfect journey!

WHAT ABOUT BICYCLES? CAN I RENT ONE OR SHOULD I BRING MY OWN?

We can help in renting a bike for your tour and will collaborate with you after your booking to aid in selecting the ideal size and model based on your riding preferences. If you prefer to bring your own bike, that's absolutely fine and we’ll take care of your bike box for the entire time of your stay. If you're uncertain, feel free to inquire!

WHAT IF THE RENTAL BIKE GETS STOLEN OR DAMAGED DURING MY RENTAL PERIOD?

When you rent a bike through us, you assume complete responsibility for its safety and condition. If the bike sustains damage during your rental period, you will be held accountable and billed for the repair expenses incurred (including any replacement components).

In the event of the bike being stolen during your rental period, you will be invoiced for the cost of replacement.

We strongly recommend ensuring that your bike rental is covered for damages and theft by your travel insurance policy.

CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND FOR A RESERVATION CANCELLATION?

WHAT IF IT RAINS? ARE REFUNDS PROVIDED?

We do not offer refunds due to weather conditions or any other natural circumstances.

DO YOU PROVIDE INSURANCE FOR MY RENTED BIKE?

We do not provide insurance for rental bike damages or theft. Unfortunately, insurance companies do not offer such policies, which would require CyclingHero to assume the risk.
